Details

Whole leaf black tea originates from the core production area in northeastern Wuyuan, situated in the Huangshan Mountain range at an elevation of 600 to 800 meters. This location is characterized by pervasive morning and evening fog during clear weather, and clouds covering the mountains all day during rainy weather, which supports the growth of high-quality raw materials. The first harvest before Qingming Festival uses one bud and one leaf, offering both the sweet, smooth taste of the bud and the rich flavor of the leaf. The tea leaves are uniformly shaped, with a blend of gold and black colors, predominantly black. The tea soup is golden-yellow and translucent, with a golden ring and a rich honey fragrance. Even after eight steepings, the leaves do not lose their flavor, color, or aroma.

To build on traditional handmade tea production, we have adopted mechanized production to maintain the consistency of whole leaf black tea quality. Zhengxi Ming Tea Co., Ltd. owns the largest automated withering machine in the country, with two sets capable of processing 50,000 jin of fresh leaves daily, producing 10,000 jin of dry tea. Our series-connected automatic fermentation machine is independently developed, utilizing dynamic fermentation to ensure each tea leaf is fully fermented during the movement process, preserving the characteristic red tea with red leaves and red tea soup.
